What happened until know...
I had my first analog camera in my hand at the age of 13 and I quickly realized that the playful use of sharpness and image details in photography enables me new and creative perspectives.
​
In order to master the entire process of analogue photography, I spent much of my free time in the school laboratory learning the development and enlargement.
​
After graduating from high school, I studied photography and film in Bielefeld and New York.
After my studies, I co-founded a marketing company and worked for automotive brands such as Ford, Landrover, Jaguar, Kia, Renault, Opel, and PEUGEOT.
​
In order to have more time for personal projects, I decided to quit my job as managing director in 2023 and sell my shares in the company.
​
Since 2024 I'm focused on personal photo/film projects and individual commissioned work.
My Style
My photographic style is strongly inspired by Ernst Haas and his approach of not always discovering something new, but rather seeing what already exists in a new way.
I combine photojournalism with artistic and creative approaches to photos that often have a second level and that you have to immerse yourself in to "experience" them.
My particular passion is analogue Film Photography.
However, because the technology used follows the project goals. Depending on the project, I use different techniques and Filmformats.
